Kylemore Abbey

We worked with Narrator & Co to shoot a number of long and short form videos for Kylemore Abbey. Kylemore Abbey is a Benedictine monastery and iconic visitor attraction set in 1,000 acres of mountainside in Connemara, Co Galway, Ireland. The purpose of the shoot was to showcase the new monastery that was being developed and built after a long number of years including video and photography from Tristan Hutchinson. The videos were to be a look inside life at Kylemore for the nuns, living the Benedictine way of life and welcoming thousands of visitors every week.

We interviewed Sr Máire, Sr Magdalena and Sr Carroll at the monastery, and used snippets of these conversations to shape the final narrative for the film.

This campaign demonstrated the values that underpin the Benedictine way of life and everyday stewardship of Kylemore Abbey. Exploring many themes and values throughout the content, we created a 3 minute Hero film and x3 shorter 1 minute cutdowns for events, website and social.
